He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lee Gray and Freda Mae McMillion Gray; and his brothers, Garry and Wayne Gray. He is survived by: his caregiver Tia Garland of Raleigh; his stepchildren, Jay, Josh Hatfield of North Carolina and Jordan Paynter of North Carolina; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Gray of Lester.
