She was predeceased by : her parents, Ben McCoy and Norma Cochran McCoy; her husband James Cooper; and her siblings, Ocie McCoy, Mack McCoy, Estell Adkins Lett and Colleen Hiat.

She is survived by : her children, Eddie Cooper (Alana), Todd Cooper (Liz), Kevin Cooper of Ranger, WV, Tedd Cooper (Sandi) of West Hamlin, WV, Christy Williams (Scott) of West Hamlin, WV and Tammy Workman of Ranger, WV..

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McGhee-Handley Funeral Home (6670 McClellan St, West Hamlin, WV 25571). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM.
