She was predeceased by: her parents, Murrell Mullinix of Damascus, MD and Wilda Mullinix of Myrtle Beach, SC; and her brother Tom Mullinix of Sugar Hill, GA.. She is survived by: her son Donald W. Smith, Jr. (JoAnna); her grandchildren, Kayla Rose (Kevin), Colton Smith (Lily) and Savannah Smith; and her siblings, Ralph Mullinix Damascus, MD (Gloria) and Arlene Smith (Barry Hightower). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
