He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Virginia Cooper and Harry Francis Cooper; his mother-in-law Linda Mae Neff; and his close friend Allen Newman. He is survived by: his wife Edith; his siblings, Robert G. Cook, Jr. (Yvonne Cook), Charles Cook Sr. (Marsha), Yvonne Cooper, Lavonne Cooper and Dianne Poole (Daniel); his father-in-law James (Sharon); his children, Jeremy Cooper, Shayla Cooper, Shirley King, Cora Sammons, Bill Sammons and Ashley Berryman (Faith); his grandchildren, Maya White, Aiden King, Eli Smith and Bella Paglia; his brother Darnell Baylor; and his close friends, Jeff Gaskins and Gary Carley. He is also survived by many other family and friends.
