He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Lurz, Sr. and Annabelle Lurz; his brother Francis Lurz; his brother-in-law Mac McPherson; his son Harold "Joey" Graver; his nephew John; and his nieces, Melissa and Briana.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Lurz; his children, Michael Lurz, Jr. (Stefani) of Hampton, VA, Jimmy Lurz (Sarah) of Ravenswood and Brandi Hurn (Jason) of Lorain, OH; his siblings, Charles Lurz (Joyce) of Baltimore, MD and Dorris McPherson of Edgewood, MD; his grandchildren, Justus, Jayden, Jordan, Wesley, Cordelia, Tyler (Sarah), Gwen (Dustin), Elizabeth and Rosella; and his great grandchildren, Oaklee and Cade. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
