With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Stephen Rees (Ravenswood, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Richard Stephen had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Richard Stephen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Willard Rees and Thelma LaDelle (Roberts); and his sister Janet Rees. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Miller; and his children, Stephanie McCoy (Jeff) and Richard Jr.. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
