He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Teasley and Ruth Hale Teasley; the mother of his children Carolyn Sue Teasley; his grandsons, Johnathan and Benjamin Teasley; and his brother Colon Teasley.

He is survived by: his children, Joe Teasley of Raysal, Dabney Teasley of Raysal, Michael Ray Teasley of Charlotte, NC and Tammy Teasley of Martinsville, VA; and his siblings, Mark Teasley of Christiansburg, VA, Debbie of Bluefield, WV., Evelyn of Bluefield, WV. and Judy Teasley of Bluefield, WV..

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Atwell Mountain United Church of God.
