It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Allen Sims of Raysal, West Virginia, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John L. Sims and Ruth M. Martin Sims; his wife Sally Christian Sims; his siblings, Gene (Barbara Sims) and Stormy Mullins; his mother-in-law Gladys Christian; his brothers-in-law, Aldie Mullins and Bub Ikard; and his stepdaughter Patricia Hass.

He is survived by : his daughters, Windy Ashley (L. D.) of Bristol, VA, Misty Lamie (Randall) of Panama City, FL, Josey Sims of Tazewell, VA and Tanya Goodman of Tazewell, VA; his grandchildren, Sammi, Calen Ashley, Morgan Tate, Aaron Hill, Tyler, Alic Hass, Parker Baldwin and Keerstin Rasnake; and his siblings, Carol Ikard and John L. (Carol Sims). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
