We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Kaye Barker of Reader, West Virginia, born in New Martinsville, West Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Boyd Lee and Garnet Ruth Higgins (Curtis); and her sisters, Bernadine Cumberledge and Yvonne Hyde. She is survived by : her husband Donel Barker; her daughters, Melissa Jean Carter (Rob) of Folsom, WV and Theresa Ann Jones (Thomas) of Hundred, WV; her sister Sylvia Highley (Larry) of New Martinsville, WV; her grandchildren, Ashley Beth White (Zachary), Justin Carter, Alisha Sells (Barry) and Peyton Jones (Annie); and her great grandchildren, Braxton and Lillianna. She is also survived by canine companion, Buddy and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wetzel County Animal Shelter, 399 Mollohan Dr., New Martinsville, WV 26155.
