He was predeceased by: his mother Miriam Carr Cooper; and his great grandchild Layne Corbitt. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Carr (Brasher); his children, James T. Carr (Terry) of Parkersburg, Ronald G. Carr of Hendricks, John Carr (Jannene) of Martinsburg, Lisa Corbitt (Mike) of Hendricks and Scott Carr (Mariel) of Aurora; his grandchildren, Amber Postlethwait (Will), Cory Carr (Emily), Jordan Corbitt (Brittany Bennett), Mindy Heckler (David), Evan Carr (Melissa Appenzellar), Adam Carr (Elizabeth Traversie), Brendon Corbitt, Blake Corbitt (Zoie Howell) and Laurel Carr; and his great grandchildren, Harrison Roberts, Hannah Heckler, Kinzy Corbitt, Henry Carr, Madalynn Carr, Troy Heckler, Emery Postlethwait, Nova Lee Heckler, Eleanor May Carr and Wren Postlethwait.
