She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Ross and Carol Hissom Ross; her siblings, JoAnn Meeks and Ben Ross; and her husband Chelcy Thornton.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Garrison (Wesley) of Hometown and John Thornton of Winfield; her sister Carol Hicks of Ripley; and her grandchildren, Ivy Garrison-Hague (Jon), Holly Garrison, Violet Cohenour (Matthew), Ross Thornton and Levi Thornton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
