He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Rhodes and Dorothy Rhodes; his wife Sandy; his son Danny Rhodes, Jr.; his siblings, Roy Rhodes and Nancy Boyer; and his brother-in-law Roger Plummer, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Dwain Rhodes (Julie), Tammy Shoemaker (Chris) and Rachael Rounds (Kyle); his grandchildren, Blake, Chandler, Braden, Julian, Kennedy of Pressley, C. J., Reid, Nataleigh, Levi, David, Austyn, Jasmine and Zoey; his sister Jeanie Smith; and his niece Bridget Caton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Upchurch Funeral Homes - Cumberland (202 Greene St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
