He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Davis and Rita Davis (Wheeler); his father-in-law Harold "Joe" Bowers; his brother Walter Davis, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Conda Smith, Jr. and Chuckie Duckworth.
He is survived by: his wife DeChanile Ann Davis (Bowers); his children, Ashley Davis and Jerid Davis (Abria Lantz); his grandchildren, Brylen, Ryan, Harper and Dane; his siblings, Veronica Duckworth, Mary Faller (Jim), Dottie Taylor (John), Janet Stegmaier and Eddie Davis (Mary Ann); his mother-in-law Nancy Bowers; his sister-in-law Terri Crawford (Michael); and his cousins, Judy Duckworth, Sandra "Kay" McKenzie, Billy Davis and Dukie Davis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery (14205 Pleasant Valley Rd NE, Flintstone, MD 21530).
