He was predeceased by: his mother Sandra Kay Kesner (Shanholtz). He is survived by: his father Earl A. Hott, Sr. of Augusta, WV; his wife Tasha Lynn Hott; his children, Amanda Hott of Moorefield, WV, Ashley Hott of Augusta, WV, Carli Tincher of Augusta, WV and Robert Bean of Berkeley Springs, WV; and his siblings, Charles Kesner of Springfield, WV, Phillip Kesner of Springfield, WV, Mike Hott of Cross Junction, VA and Cindy Hott of Charleston, WV. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
