She was predeceased by: her parents, William Twigg and Anna Mae Root (Iser); and her brother James Root. She is survived by: her husband Lenny E. Bennett; her daughters, Beverly Jean Marken (Michael), Barbara Keister Baldwin and Stacy Green (Pone); and her brother William Root. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scarpelli Funeral Home (108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery (128 Wesley Chapel Rd, Ridgeley, WV 26753).
