With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Messer of Ridgeley, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2026 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Marcum and Wyzona Marcum (Messer); her husband Reese Messer; her stepson Michael Muncy; and her siblings, Eddie Marcum and Irene Marcum.
She is survived by: her sons, Rev. Lark J. Muncy and Shane Marcum; her grandchildren, Alana, Justin, Carter Muncy and Braylee Marcum; and her sisters, Connie Flemings and Elizabeth Muncy.
