She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Funkhouser and Angeline Funkhouser (Gochenour); her former husband Edsel Tharp; her husband Lowell Daniels; her daughter Dinah L. Rinard; and her siblings, Clarence, Raymond, Maynard "Cub" Funkhouser, Florence Miller, Mary Smith and Fannie Mae Funkhouser.
She is survived by: her children, Sherwin Tharp (Joyce) of Baker, WV and Sandra P. Jenkins (Warren) of Rio, WV; and her stepchildren, Louis A. Daniels and Charlotte Hamilton.
