She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marion Kerns and Leona Kerns (Snyder); and her husband Rev. Creed Basil Pursley. She is survived by: her sons, Creed "Sonny" Pursley Jr. (Sandra) of Ripley, WV and David Pursley (Gail) of Kenna, WV; and her brothers, James, Donnie and William Kerns. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grand children and one great-great grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1595 Garfield Heights Rd, Leroy, WV 25252).
