He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Smart and Charley Smart Sr.; and his stepfather Jim Miller. He is survived by: his wife Janet Smart (Woods); and his sons, Charley III (Jennifer) of Davisville, WV, Andrew of Fairplain and David of Sissonville.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Waybright Funeral Home (511 S Church St, Ripley, WV 25271). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
