Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ernest Truman Rawlings of Ripley, West Virginia, born in Keyser, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 98, on April 1, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry E. Rawlings and Gladys Rawlings (Likens); his former life partner Sybil Rawlings (Swiger); his wife Thelma Rawlings (Shinn); his siblings, Janis Geoghgan, James and Ed Rawlings; and his granddaughter Kim Houchins.

He is survived by : his sons, Kevin Rawlings (Janie) and Ernie Rawlings; his grandchildren, Ryan Rawlings (Tessa), Justin Rawlings (Heather), Amy Morehead and Sherry Bett; and his great grandchildren, Kylee, Melina, Mack, Sadi Rawlings, Megan Stewart, Allison Houchins, Carley and Rae Bett.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Truman's memory to Epworth United Methodist Church, 299 N. Church St., Ripley, WV 25271.
