He was predeceased by : his parents, Virgil Nuckles and Acel Nuckles of Given; his wife Jo Ann Anderson Nuckles; and his brothers, Ralph Nuckles, Charles Nuckles and Troy Nuckles.

He is survived by : his children, Steve Nuckles and Sandy Grady (Joe); his grandchildren, Joey Grady (Amber) and Emily Grady (Rex); his great grandchildren, Raylynn, Enslee and Briggs; and his brother Roy Nuckles (Linda).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waybright Funeral Home (511 S Church St, Ripley, WV 25271). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
