He is survived by: his wife Karen Hinzman Harper; his children, Kim Bowman, Shelly Harper (Troy), Stacie Ellison (Alex), Kari Harper, Mike Harper (Missy) and Mandy Payne; and his grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Cunningham (Joey), Danielle Lucas (Mark), Josh Merical (Tabby), Kendra Irvin (Graham), Jessica Sigman (Gage), Jacob Taylor (Tanika), Brianna Hunt (Payne), Kayla Duckworth (Jeromie), Emily Davis (Cody), Lanei Ellison and Ella Rae Ellison. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren and a host of friends.
The family suggests that donations in memory of Sonny be made to the Jackson County Chapter of Vets 4 Vets, 8507 Parkersburg Rd, Sandyville, WV 25275-7516.
