He is survived by: his wife Michelle Koontz; his daughter Elizabeth; his stepsons, Daniel and Samuel Parsons; his mother Bonnie Koontz; his brother Chris Koontz; his sister-in-law Meredith Koontz; his sibling's children, Isaac, Ethan, Eli Koontz, Olivia Koontz and Andrea Barr; and his great-niece Zoe Barr. He is also survived by his family, and many friends.
