He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Huffman and Betty Huffman (Haren); his brothers, Frankie and Roger "Alan" Huffman; his grandson James Lauson Huffman; and his brother-in-law Tom McCoy.

He is survived by: his wife Vickie Lane Huffman (Warner); his son Jamie Huffman (Bethany) of Seneca Rocks, WV; his siblings, Judi McCoy of New Creek, WV, Dan Huffman (Liz) of Seneca Rocks, WV and Tom Huffman (Kathy) of Petersburg, WV; his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Huffman (Kim Evick) of Circleville, WV, Adam Huffman of Seneca Rocks, WV, Taryn Hogbin (Zach) of Corners Road, WV, Lucas McCoy (Heather) of New Creek, WV, Austin Huffman of Seneca Rocks, WV and Ella Huffman of Maysville, WV; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Payten, Elizabeth Huffman, Dakota, Alayna Huffman, Avery, William Huffman, Alyssa, Kinsley McCoy, Everett, Elliot Hogbin and Aurora Huffman.
