He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dozier Tompkins and Lucille Harman Tompkins; his grandparents, Curt and Beulah Harman; his son Justin Harman Tompkins; and his grandparents, Glover and Emmie Tompkins.
He is survived by: his significant other Laura Murray Tompkins; his son Joshua Harman Tompkins (Lurenda) of Davis, WV; his grandson Jay Wright Tompkins of Elkins, WV; and his brother Jim Tompkins (Beverly) of Petersburg, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Riveton United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
