He is survived by : his children, Nathan Akers (Tina) of Lashmeet, Dylan Akers (Selena) of Lake Bottom, Blake Akers (Haylee) of Lashmeet, Miracle Akers (Samuel), Jake Akers (Hannah) of Lashmeet and Joey Akers (Megan) of Princeton; his siblings, Connie Cook of Matoaka, Brenda Hall (Clifford) of Matoaka, Debbie Barbour of Lashmeet and Clinton Akers, Jr. (Vickie) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Tionna, Serenity, Mayley, Jensen, Naomi, Bella, Blakelyn, Mila and Kamdyn; and his close friend Rocky Ball of Weyanoke.
