With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Thomason of Rock, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 78. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Patricia Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gilmore, and Elsie Griffith Gilmore, Jr.; and her siblings, Woody Gilmore and Rita Dinger. She is survived by: her children, Aubrey "Sonny" Thomason of Princeton, WV and Teresa Stowers (Randall) of Bluefield, WV; her siblings, Larry Gilmore, Sr. of Bluefield, WV, Michael Gilmore (Pam) of Princeton, WV and Roxanne Delida (Paul) of Bluefield, WV; her granddaughter Tabitha Crouse; and her great grandchild Urijah Crouse.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home (3431 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
