It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Wayne Boyce of Rockport, West Virginia, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charley Boyce and Mary "Etta" Thompson Boyce; his wife Janet Gant Boyce; his siblings, Cecil, Lawrence, Truman, Earl, Garnet Thomas, Opal Miihlbach, Lillie Gates, Gladys Boyce and Faye Hanson; his sons-in-law, Duane Davis and Rich Thompson; and his brother-in-law Jim Gant.

He is survived by : his children, Tim Boyce (Patricia) of Ravenswood, Connie Boyce of Rockport and Karen Thompson of Butler, PA; his grandchildren, Noah Davis (Tonya), Doreen Mitchell (JR) of Le Roy, WV, Ashley Gamble (Ian), Corey Thompson of Butler, PA, Eric and Jesse Boyce of Ravenswood; his great grandchildren, Macey, Cohen, Licoln Gamble and Jameson Mitchell; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Gant (Barb) and Sonny Gant (Charlotte) of Elizabeth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home of South Parkersburg (2333 Pike St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
