She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Long and Ethel Rutherford Long; her husband Kenneth Rice; her son Danny Rice; her siblings, Anita Auvil, Virginia Garland and Douglas Long; her aunt Mary Wyzick; and her niece Susie Pennington.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Rice of Roderfield, WV and Theresa Rice (Michael Murphy) of Welch, WV; her granddaughters, Veronica Riley (DJ) and Miranda Puckett (Jamie); and her great grandchildren, Kennah, Willow Jayne and Huxton.
She went peacefully in her home following a long battle with Alzheimer's.
