Carolyn J. Lovins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn J. Lovins of Romney, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland C. Shanholtzer and Lillian L. Hott Johnson; her son Richard G. Maddox, Sr.; her grandson Richard G. Maddox, Jr.; and her brother Larry Shanholtzer.
She is survived by: her husband Alfred L. Lovins; her daughter Connie Harris of Reston, VA; her sister Beverley Shanholtzer of Maryland; her grandchildren, Tina Konka, Leonard Maddox, Heather Brown, Nicole Harris and Isiah Harris; and her great grandchildren, Chistina Konka, Emma Konka, Rebekah Konka and Marlena Maddox.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory (2807 Northwestern Turnpike, Capon Bridge, WV 26711).
