He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Funk and Ethel Funk (Hott); and his sisters, Helen Timbrook, Anna Combs and Shirley Veach.
He is survived by: his wife Iris Dove Funk; his children, Randy Funk (Debbie) of Mt. Storm, WV, Michael Funk (Ada) of Romney, WV, Greg Funk of Fulks Run, VA, Beverly Pownall (Barry) of Romney, WV and Mary Puffenbarger (Ron) of Broadway, VA; and his siblings, Robert, Roy, Eugene Funk (Gene), Frances Davis, Catherine Ludwig, Dorothy High and Wanda Hott. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
