He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper Kesner and Irene Kesner (Combs); his wife Betty Kesner (Wolfe); and his siblings, Charles Robert, Chester Eugene, Albert Brooks, Elburn Leroy, Russell, Virgil, Ernest, Casper, George "Peachie" and Elizabeth Whitacre.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Kesner of Romney, WV, Randall Kesner of Romney, WV and Tim Kesner of Romney, WV; and his siblings, Dorothy Pratt of Romney, WV, Johnny Blaine Kesner (Laurine) of Winchester, VA, Patricia Riggleman (Roger) of Maysville, WV, Steve Kesner (Carolyn) of Augusta, WV and Don Kesner (Myra) of Shanks, WV.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Christ Community Church (74 Hollow Farm Lane, Augusta, WV 26704). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
