He was predeceased by: his mother Mae Eloise Eversole of Mineral County, WV.; his wife Linda House Eversole; and his siblings, James Ray Eversole and Barbara Kay Eversole Stewart. He is survived by: his children, Roger L. Eversole, Jr. (Maria), Lisa Eversole of Romney and Lindsay Eversole of Romney; his grandchildren, Savannah Saville, Courtney Saville, Sierra Jarvis, Clayton Saville, Chris Wilson, Alyssa Landis and Madison Eversole; his great grandchildren, Liam, Emberlyn, Luka, Addilyn, Ava, Waylon and Walker; and his siblings, Robert Eversole (Skeeter) of Augusta and Deborah Eversole Reynolds of Keyser. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
