With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna A. Boggs McDowell of Ronceverte, West Virginia, who passed away on February 8, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fauncy D. Boggs and Minnie E. Boggs (Henry); her husband William H. McDowell; and her sisters, Virginia Saunders, Marie Dowdy and Priscilla Cochrane.
She is survived by: her children, William Edward McDowell (Terri) and Janet R. King (Kent); her grandchildren, Jonathan McDowell (Elizabeth), Rebekah McDowell, Krista King, Emily Hinkle (Anthony) and Jarrod King (Dee); and her great grandchildren, Jude McDowell, Charlee McDowell and Hattie King. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
