It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ilamae Morgan of Ronceverte, West Virginia, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Dowdy and Lena Bostic Dowdy; her husband Teddy Gray Morgan; her son Danny E. Morgan; her grandson Todd Morgan; and her siblings, Lorene Helvey, Mason, Glenn and Everett Dowdy.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Morgan (Susan) of Ronceverte, Barry Morgan (Michelle) of Ronceverte and Bryan Morgan (Cindy) of Ronceverte; her grandchildren, Tony Morgan (Heather), Dustin Morgan (Amanda), Amanda Ellis (Anthony), Ashley Freeman (Tyler), Devin Morgan (Megan) and Abby McCutcheon (Malachai); and her sisters, Teena Porterfield, Brenda Hunt and Carol Dixon. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; special sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ronceverte Baptist Church (415 Main St W, Ronceverte, WV 24970). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens (11 Sunset Dr, Ronceverte, WV 24970).
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to either the Ronceverte Baptist Church 437 Main St. West, Ronceverte, WV 24970 or to Lewisburg Healthcare Center 979 Rocky Hill Road, Ronceverte, WV 24970.
