With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wanda Lee Burns (Ronceverte, West Virginia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Wanda Lee left this world on July 20, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Hampton Howard and Cinda Helvey Howard; her husband James Howard Burns; her brother Robert Howard (Bob); and her friend Myrtle Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Ratliff (Alan) and Curtis Burns (Tammy); her grandchildren, Keri Galford (Kevin), Justin Ratliff (Tiffany), Brittany Blankenship (Randy), Tracey Hylton (Kenny) and Baylee Burns; her great grandchildren, Kash, Klaire, Harley, Rhiannon, Krew, Hunter, Ruger, Townes and Kori; her brother Joe Howard (Tina); and her siblings-in-law, Jenny Francisco, Larry Burns (Gerri) and Lewis Burns. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Organ Cave Community Center (2662 Seneca Trail S, Ronceverte, WV 24970). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Burns Family Cemetery (116 Duroc Ln, Ronceverte, WV 24970).
In lieu of flowers, we encourage charitable donations to be made to HospiceCare and Peyton House Hospice in Lewisburg, WV.
