We announce the death of Phyllis Loverine Menear of Rowlesburg, West Virginia, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 83. Phyllis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nelson Blair and Wilda Madge Murphy (Baker); her daughter Jamie Bruce Calhoun; her former husband Robert "Bruce" Menear; her grandchildren, Devin Michael "Tuna" Green and Frankie Jo Bruno; and her siblings, Rita "Nick" Moats, Carolyn Kelly, Thelma DeWitt and Larry Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Davis of Kingwood, Rita Wolfe (Tom) of Valley Point and Samantha Taylor (Paul Burger) of Kingwood; her grandchildren, Fabian Green, Nikki Green, Joshua Taylor (Katy), Avery Menear (Megan), Hayley Taylor, Glen Sheldon and Emma Burger; her great grandchildren, Korbin Green, Draven Shaffer, Phoenix Green and Aurora Silveira; her great great grandchild Jak Green; her sister Janice Ruth Menear of Kingwood; and her extended family, Aaron, Theresa Bolyard and Ida Mae Fike. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
