He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Kay and Anna L. Sovine; and his brother Frank Kay (Connie Vowell). He is survived by: his wife Jackie Pickens Kay; his siblings, John Kay (Barbara) of Hurricane, WV, Margaret Comer of Middletown, OH and Charlote Legg of Cross Lanes, WV; his children, Danny Kay, Jr. (Stephanie) of Dunbar, WV, Amanda Tanfield (Ron) of Clearwater, FL and Monica Burkholder (Destin) of Sarasota, FL; and his stepchildren, Tony Pickens (Joy) of South Charleston, WV and Donna Rose of South Charleston, WV. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
