He was predeceased by: his father Frank B. Thompson, Jr.; his grandparents, Hester A. Hunley, Eugene and Opal Cobbs; his great-grandparents, Myrtle Dent Wallace, Jesse and Myrtle Atkinson; his uncles, Sonny Cobbs of Sissonville and Charlie Cobbs of Gambrills, Maryland; and his great-aunt Agnes Cox.
He is survived by: his mother Roberta A. Thompson of St. Albans; his siblings, Cheryl Barker (Terry) of St. Albans and Tracy Thompson (Pam) of Dunbar; his nieces and nephews, Erica Ramsey (Bret) of St. Albans, Ashley Schumaker (Chris) of Suffolk, Virginia, Damon Master of St. Albans, Garrett Schumaker of Suffolk and Delilah Master of St. Albans; and his aunts, Becky McNeil (Paul) of Lakeland and Janet Cobbs of Gambrills.
