Shelia Karen McGhee Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelia Karen McGhee of Saint Albans, West Virginia, who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert William McGhee, Jr. and Mary Norma McGhee (Davis); her boyfriend Larry "Earl" Jeffery; and her siblings, Sylvia Jean Brogan Plummer, Paul, Bobby and Gary McGhee.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Allen Wehrle (Rick) and Christopher James Wehrle of St. Albans; her grandchildren, Eric Tyler Wehrle of St. Albans, Richard Allen Wehrle, Jr. (R. J.) of St. Albans, Skyler Wehrle of St. Albans and Alex Wehrleo of Cross Lanes; her siblings, Melinda Royer (LeRoy), Kevin McGhee (Gerri) of St. Albans, Teresa Burgess (Norman), Calvin Douglas McGhee (Robin) of South Charleston, Marsha Marler (LeGrande) of Tobacoville, NC and Lydia Beirne (Tom) of Clendenin; and her sisters-in-law, Goldie of Florida, Pat of South Charleston and Shelia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Green Valley Church of God (518 Green Valley Dr, St Albans, WV 25177).
Shelia loved all fur-babies, thus in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association.
