He was predeceased by: his sister Brenda Udell; and his grandparents, Carl, Edna Smith, Rudolph and Marie Ullrich.
He is survived by: his parents, John Smith and Edith Smith; his daughter Alexandra Smith-Sarmiento (Camilo); his granddaughters, Maia Rose and Talia Grace; his daughter Samantha Scadden; and his brother Clifford Smith (Tammy).
