He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Shingleton and Lora Miller Shingleton. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Shingleton (Peggy), Randall Shingleton (Lisa) and Russell Shingleton (Julie); and his sisters, Carolyn Byers (Eddie), Trudy Johnson (Terry) and Marcella Waldron (Chris). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
