He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Lee Shultz, Sr. and Alice Marie Hartley Carpenter; and his brothers, Carl Lee Shultz, Jr. and Alan Okey Shultz. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Smith (Joseph); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Nichols, Brooklyn Smith and Jeremiah Smith; and his siblings, Sylvia Farson (Robert) and Bill Shultz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
