He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin "Rags" Clendenen and Maxine Dudding Clendenen Nibert; his stepfather Garland Nibert; and his brother John Franklin Clendenen II. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Farney Clendenen; his brothers, Kendal Clendenen (Sheri) and Jeff Clendenen (Jenny); his children, George Timothy "Timmy" Clendenen II (Amy) and Jessica Wedemeyer of Point Pleasant; and his grandchildren, Kerstyn Clendenen and Cooper Clendenen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the March of Dimes in his memory.
