It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Carpenter of Saint Marys, West Virginia, who passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas "Tom" G. Carpenter; her parents, Brady Lamp and Bernice Hooper Lamp; and her siblings, Virginia Wallace, Betty Metheny and Brady Lamp Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Liz Carpenter (Marshall Lamp) and Jennifer Hupp (Rick); her grandchildren, Tabatha Efaw (Andrea), Erika Lewis (Chris) and Dylan Hupp (Mary); her great grandchildren, Liam Guns, Greyson Efaw, Evelyn and Matilda Lewis; and her siblings, Jim Lamp and Pat Nichols. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Marys Volunteer Fire Department.
