We announce the death of Beverly Ann Miles of Salem, West Virginia, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 71. Beverly will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her father Burlin "Esau" Floyd Nicholson; her sons, James Robert Stonestreet and Bernard James Stonestreet II; and her sister Sharon Nicholson. She is survived by: her mother Ida Virginia Livingston Nicholson of West Union; her husband John Stanley Miles; her daughters, Bernice Vickers of Richmond, VA and Virginia Hoalcraft of Richmond, VA; and her siblings, Shirley Gessler of Big Flint, Bertie Adams (Clinton) of Salem, Malinda Kay Long of Nashville, TN, Floyd Nicholson (Janette) of Marshville, Ronald Nicholson of West Union, Donald Nicholson of West Union, Harvey Nicholson (Sherri), Spencer and Richard Nicholson of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home & Crematory-Salem (1999 W Main St, Salem, WV 26426). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
