He was predeceased by: his father Grover Merrill Davis Sr.; his grandparents, Cordellia Jane Allen Posey, John Leslie and Lille LuCinda Davis; and his brother-in-law Dennis Webb.
He is survived by: his mother Martha Jane Posey Davis of Salem; his siblings, Tonya Webb, Grover "Butch" Davis Jr. (Beverly) and Michael Davis (Michale); and his nieces, Shari Webb (Adam), Brittany Cain (Doug), BJ Davis (Whitney) and Aimee Smith (James).
