He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edward and Enith Fonda Bailey Nicholson; his son Shawn Thomas Nicholson; his grandson Jason Alexander Nicholson; his daughter-in-law Shanna Jean Wolfe Nicholson; and his sisters-in-law, Bessie Hurst Nicholson and Suellen Riddle Nicholson.
He is survived by: his children, Bernadette R Nicholson Richards (Dave), William E Nicholson (Patricia) of Salem and Jason H Nicholson (Kelly) of Salem; his grandchildren, Rocky Locke (Nikki), Norman Locke (Ashley Glahn), Jesimae Jamison (Brandon), David Neil Richards, Haley Richards, Jamie Rasel (Levi), Kiley Darnall (Tim) and Ashlyn Ross (Brenna); his great grandchildren, Elaina, Jeremy, Jayson, Jocelyn, Isaiah, Madalynn, Noah, Andrew, Abbi, Anthony, Ava, Mia, Camden, Alexis, Dewayne, Henry, Delilah and Elliott; his great great grandchild Oaklynn; and his brothers, Lorren E Nicholson and Warren E Nicholson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
