He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Swiger and Mabel Pierce Swiger; and his siblings, Dickie Swiger and Jerry Swiger. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Smith Swiger; his daughters, Jessica Mae Jeffries (Marc) of Eastview and Andrea Carbaugh (Jeffrey) of Salem; his grandchildren, Levi Jeffries, Karaline Jeffries, Traigh Ash-Rice, James Ash-Rice, Adalynn Swiger, Malachi Burgess and Emmileah Carbaugh; and his siblings, Larry Swiger of Lumberport and Lisa Swiger of Clarksburg.
