He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Burl and Tressie Louise Forrester Cottrill; his brothers, James Lynn Cottrill (Phylis) of Salem and Rodney Francis Cottrill (Vicki) of Nutter Fort; his sisters-in-law, Julie Cottrill and Winona Forrester of Orlando, FL; and his siblings, Rhea Richards (Henry), David Cottrill, Robert Forrester, Lawrence Cottrill (Joyce) and Kenneth Cottrill.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home & Crematory-Salem (1999 W Main St, Salem, WV 26426). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
